* Firmware is the software that runs inside digital cameras.

  Updatable models
    K-x digital SLR cameras running Firmware Ver. 1.00.

  How to check version
      Turn the power on while pressing the MENU button.
      The Firmware version is displayed for about 5 seconds at the center
      of the LCD monitor.
      Perform the above operation without inserting the SD/SDHC card 
      containing Firmware in the camera.

주의

  Use AC adaptor (K-AC84) is recommended  어댑터 사용하는 것을 추천..
  If you are using AA batteries, be sure to use fully charged AA Ni-MH 
  rechargeable batteries, full capacity of AA lithium batteries or full 
  capacity of AA alkaline batteries and confirm that the battery level  
  indicator is displayed 갾Green갿 (Batteries are full) before updating.

만약 AA 배터리 쓰려면 완전히 충전된 AA NI-MH 충전지를 써라. 완충된 AA리튬배터리나 AA알카라인
배터리를 써라.(설명서에서는 테스트용을 제외하면 왠만하면 알카라인은 쓰지 말라고 했으니..
왠만하면 안쓰는 것이) 그리고 업데이트 전에 배터리 잔량을 확인해라.

  If the camera turns off during updating due to lack of battery power, the
  camera will become inoperable. If this happens, a charge will be made for
  repairs even if within the warranty period.

만약 카메라가 업데이트 도중에 배터리 부족으로 꺼지면,,, 카메라는 벽돌이 될 것이다.
이런 일이 벌어지면 비용은 너의 부담이다. 워런티 기간 이내라도.

  Updating Procedure 업데이트 순서

  1. Provide a formatted SD/SDHC memory card for the update software (with at 
     least 32MB of available memory space). 업데이트를 위해 포맷된 메모리카드를 준비하세요.
     The downloaded file is self-extracting. 다운로드된파일은 알아서 추출합니다.
     The following files are extracted. 다음의 파일들이 추출될 겁니다.

            readme.txt   :  this document
            fwdc206b.bin :  Firmware

     Copy the above Firmware file [fwdc206b.bin] to the root directory in 
     the SD/SDHC card. 파일을 메모리카드로 복사하세요.
     If your computer does not have a card slot, you can copy the firmware
     update file by inserting the SD/SDHC card into your camera and then 
     connecting the camera directly to your computer.
컴퓨터에 카드 슬롯이 없다면.. sd카드를 카메라에 넣고 컴퓨터와 직접 연결함으로써
펌웨어 파일을 복사할 수 있습니다.

  2. Insert the AA batteries into the camera and confirm the battery level  
     indicator is displayed 갾Green갿 (Batteries are full)then turn the 
     camera off.
      If 갾Green갿is not displayed, turn the camera ON and off again to 
     activate the battery performance.
aa배터리를 카메라에 넣고, 배터리 레벨 인디케이터를 체크하시고 카메라를 끄세요.
  3. Insert the update SD/SDHC card (prepared in step 1) into the camera 
     and close card cover.
업데이트된 sd카드를 카메라에 넣고 메모리카드 커버를 닫으세요.
  4. Turn the camera power on while pressing the MENU button.
메뉴 버튼을 누르면서 카메라 전원을 켜세요.
  5. "NOW LOADING" appears in the LCD monitor, and will change to the 
     "PROGRAM UPDATE". At the bottom of the LCD monitor,
'now loading'이 lcd 모니터에 뜹니다. 그리고 'program update'로 바뀔겁니다. lcd 모니터 아래에
            CURRENT VERSION 1.00 
            UPDATE  VERSION 1.01

     will be displayed.
이렇게 뜰 겁니다.
  6. Press the four-way controller to select "YES" and press the "OK" button.
yes를 선택해서 ok 버튼을 누르세요.
  7. "UPDATING" appears on the LCD monitor and updating starts.
     Please do not under any circumstances switch off the power before the
     update is completed.
     It will take approximately 150 seconds to complete update.
updating 이 lcd 모니터에 뜨고 업데이트가 시작됩니다.
업데이트가 끝날때까지 무슨일이 있어도 전원이 안꺼지게하세요.
대개 150초 정도면 끝날겁니다.

  8. When update is completed, the "COMPLETE" will be displayed at the left
     bottom of the LCD monitor, then turn the camera off.
업데이트가 완료되었을때, complete가 lcd 모니터 왼쪽아래에 뜰 겁니다. 그리고 카메라를 끄세요.
  9. Remove the update SD/SDHC card from the camera.
카메라로부터 sd 카드를 분리하세요.
 10. To check the Firmware version in your camera, turn the camera on while
     pressing the MENU button.
     Check that the version displayed in the LCD monitor is "Ver.1.01"
     The camera automatically starts up after about 5 seconds.
펌웨어 버전을 확인하기 위해, 메뉴버튼을 누르면서 전원을 켜세요.
ver 1.01 이라고 뜰겁니다. 5초후에 카메라는 자동으로 시작되구요.

  (Caution)
    When updating is finished, the update SD/SDHC card still contains the 
    Firmware file.
    If you want to use this card to take pictures, delete the Firmware file
    first.
주의**
업데이트가 끝났을때, 업데이트된 sd카드에 아직도 펌웨어 파일이 남아있습니다.
이 카드를 이용해서 사진찍고 싶다면, 펌웨어 파일은 지워주세요.
